The Fashion Journalist branch works similar to the base game journalist career, except you can interview Sims about their outfits, then write a positive or negative article about their outfit. Designers can then sell their sketches to other labels, or when they reach level 10 of the career, they can sell them directly to the "public" for a higher rate. Your Sims designs will vary depending on their skill levels. I created a new painting type for the easel and added in about 30 new paintings of fashion sketches. Designers can actually paint fashion designs on the easel. Models have the ability to "practice modelling" in the mirror and can also walk the runway in later levels and receive a variety of moodlets depending on their skill levels. The base track and the branches all have custom interactions tied to them, but the tracks have the most unique gameplay features. The Fashion Career starts with your Sim working their way up in a clothing store, but eventually branches off to one of three branches: Model, Designer, or Fashion Journalist.
